July 17th

We are back from the shows . we came home with three champions . WIggles , Alagria , and Scarlet have all finished there championship at the tender age of 8 months , we have updated there pages . Also we have on our boys page the three boys we have kept from our UK /NA breeding so go have a peek I will be adding the girls from this breeding we kept to the younghopfuls page when we have time . also Maggie had her pups she had seven never a dull moment here at glasgowhill

June 24th

Swagger has been sold . Today the puppies got there first shots yesterday they were all microchiped boy are they growing up fast . two of the puppies will be leaving this weekend . the next couple of weeks will be busy for we are gearing up for shows . Kayla our Daughter will be home to attend the shows with us . We spent most of the day collecting DNA for MDR1 and hope to have results in two weeks . Tender was spayed for she has been sold and will be leaving the end of july Tender was also hip certified and she passed with normal hips A Copy of Her certificate will be sent out to the people who bought her puppies .Tenders daughter Embrace CEA PRA results came back she is A Non Carrier of both CEA and PRA so we are delighted .

June 22nd

Jasper and Tori made the trip from Thailand with no problems so in six months they will be joining there family again in the UK . We are pleased to announce that Glasgowhill's Making Waves has two points towards his championship he took BOB , Best Of Winners . Best Puppy in Breed ,Winners dog both days of the show this last weekend . Serf Is Co Owned with Roxanne Morgan Winsmore collies P.E.I

June 8 2010

Chase has been sold and has gone to his new home . On thursday Gene and I will be traveling to jane's house up north to work on the glasgowhill reunion witch is coming up fast . then on friday Gene and I will be traveling to Pennsylvania to look at a five month old male collie puppy and we just may be bringing him home to Glasgowhill, We will be back on sunday And Hopefully with some big news .

Well what a wonderful long weekend the weather is Beautiful Gene is on her way home from the USA should be here soon . Kayla did very well at the show at Mount Pearl Newfoundland with Glasgowhill's Make Me Tri . Just 6 months old Owner Nicole Gallager "Jackson and Kayla" took Three Group three's and One group Fourth . Two Best Puppy In group for a total of Three points towards his championship .

Can Ch Glasgowhill's Continental Dude has been sold to a pet home , We received a TOP DOG Certificate for Tabitha she was ranked #3 Smooth collie in canada for 2009 We Gene and I are very proud of her .We have been very busy these days with puppies we are also gearing up for dog shows soon . Gene will be back next week and it will be so nice to have her back in canada with US her Family . Caprica Has been sold She will be leaving tomorrow . Also we have updated pictures Of Luma so please go peek at her page . Tomorrow we plan to update Ashton's page and more of the younghopfuls . GAnder And sunny puppies are growing And Ganders pups are just starting to open there eyes . We also hope to update puppy pictures .

April 26th

Well we were up very early this morning to go to the vets . Venture had his Titer done for he will be traveling to Scotland in september . Maggie ,Dude, Embrace all had there blood drawn for Optigen , For CEA and PRA . Maggie is clear through parentage but she will be staying in the breeding program so I wanted her certificates so this is why I wanted her done .I will post results in two weeks

Polar was neutered last week and has gone to his new home where he will be the only dog I am sure he will love all the camping you do So Congratulations to Dorothy and Wayne of Alylmer Ontario

Hi everyone well the grass is green and all the flowers are coming out and so are collie coats . Yup that time of year to brush brush brush , We have received all five OVC Certificates on Hips and as stated they all passed . Rumba,Emotion,Sunny ,Java ,Dare , All there Certificate # have been posted on the Girls Page . Polar was neutered and all went well he will be going to his new home soon. well must run and get back to leash training the puppies . Happy Easter to everyone we would like to first say that after a major complication to her pregnancy Glasgowhill Prima Donna Died after a week of battling with an infection she was given the best of care and died while undergoing a plasma transfusion . Prima will be so missed by the people who loved her Meredith, Colleen & Myself and all the other people who had the special chance to love her . She will be missed by so many people rest well my fried rest well !!! .

March 29th

Wow been a busy weekend Two obtained their CD's (One a American CD the Other a Canadian CD so it is now Glasgowhill's Spittin Image, CD, RN, CGC and Glasgowhill Follow That Dream CD congratulations to both their owners for your dedication and heard work way to go Ladies . Also Am Can Ch Glasgowhill's Ready Get Go first time out as a special was BOV both days of the show in Texas . Glasgowhill's Spittin Image, CD, RN, CGC was also hard at work and All in all a pretty good show these past few days, in the ring 6 times and placed in the ribbons 5 times. Tomorrow and Sunday we will be in 4 agility trials, competing for points towards our UACH (United Agility Champion). Layla did great today very consistent, 198/200 for 3 runs, so we earned 12pts.-(. We have 22 pts towards her UACH. It was a wild week in the ring for OB, Rally and Agility 14 times total. No more OB shows for a while, nothing very close to home. A lot of people are wondering why Cat will not be going to the UK Angela has decided NOT to put all her eggs in one basket so instead of taking another Chad Offspring angela has decided to wait for another Bitch puppy from my kennel not related to chad. And I Agree and support this 110% . It is so nice working with someone who has the same goals and I can re assure Angela that her new puppy will be as beautiful as CAT .

Hi everyone first we are pleased to announce that CAT will be staying at glasgowhill I would like to thank everyone who e mailed to ask why she wouldn't be going to the UK it is not because there is something wrong with her she is healthy and Has a wonderful personality . Polar has found a new home congratulations to his new family . Also Rumba is being sold because she can't have puppies she has reproduction problems we tried to get to the bottom as to why through the last two heat cycles and the conclusion was her uterus was to small it would never hold puppies this has come to us with a devastating blow as she is one of my best bitches . Also I would like to congratulate Loraine of Scotland she is the new owner of Glasgowhill's Meet Me Halfway . "Venture" you will have so much fun with him at shows .

We have updated photos of Quest and Afta . we will be saying goodbye to all of tender and Rem's pups this weekend .One will be flying so Jim will be off to the airport and I will stay home to welcome all the families coming to get there new bundle of JOY .

Glasgowhill Reunion is ON

WE WOULD LIKE TO COMPILE A LIST OF EVERYONE THAT IS INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THE GLASGOWHILL REUNION ON JULY 24 TH. 2010 PLEASE NOTIFY ME BY MARCH 31 ST 2010. IF YOU CAN MAKE IT.

WE ARE HOPING TO HAVE A VOLUNTEER FROM THE TORONTO AREA ORGANIZE PICKUP OF GUESTS THAT WILL BE FLYING IN TO THE AIR PORT, AS WELL AS TRANSPOTATION FOR THEM TO SANDI'S TO KEEP THEIR COSTS DOWN.

THERE WILL BE A SMALL COST OF 5 TO 10 DOLLARS PER PERSON TO COVER THE COST OF MEAL .

SANDI HAS SOME BEDS AVAILABLE AT HER PLACE FOR THOSE THAT NEED THEM AND WE WILL PROVIDE INFO ON MOTELS CLOSE BY. THERE WILL BE LOTS OF ROOM FOR CAMPERS AND TENTS AS WELL.

ALL YOU WILL NEED TO BRING IS A LAWN CHAIR, REFRESHMENTS, SLEEPING PROVISIONS IE: TENT AND BEDDING, AND A DISH TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE POT LUCK.
ONCE WE HAVE DONE A HEAD COUNT CHERYL WILL INFORM US OF THE DISHES WE WILL NEED. OH AND DON'T FORGET YOUR COLLIES!

SANDI SAYS SHE HAS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR THE DOGS AT HER PLACE. THE AREA MOTELS APPARENTLY WILL NOT ACCEPT DOGS.

Today I had an unexpected phone call from a very good friend of mine who lives in the USA her name is Sandy we had a wonderful conversation catching up on old times . She tells me she has lost her two old collies and I do feel for her I know this pain . Sandy loved these dogs with her whole heart and is one of the best collie moms you would ever meet . I will always be here for you my friend !!! thanks for the call . Also it snowed today so the dogs are having a blast in all the fresh snow .

Hi everyone and Yes we are fine and thank you for all the e mails I guess I should try to keep up with news . All the pups are doing just fine I will try to post pictures of tenders litter today . we have been busy leash training the pups leaving over seas . I have also been busy with the web site still trying to bond with it LOL . Everyone who has taken a puppy home is very happy with there new family additions and we hope that at some point you can sign my guest book and let us all know how things are going . Today I have a poodle coming in for grooming then I will get to the web site .

Well It's been a couple of days Tender had her pups on the 23rd she had Six One girl and Five boys all sable I will be contacting people who have reserved a puppy from this breeding . Also Racer took the Breed /variety this past weekend in Texas For two points he is minored out and just needs a Major to Finish his American Championship. Three pups left this weekend all to show Breeding homes So congratulations go to Kent, Nichol And Janneke it was so nice meeting you Janneke, and I think we will have a wonderful and long friendship .Your puppy is Gorgeous and I am sorry to have overwhelmed you with all our gorgeous Glasgowhill Puppies . Congratulations to Christine of Kincardine who has adopted Kabluey I think he will settle in quit nice. Congratulations To Roxanne Morgan on her litter by Can Ch Glasgowhill's Be A Rockstar this is his last litter she had Two Tris and Two Blues Born Yesterday the 24th .

Hi Everyone Well a couple of days have gone by I have been busy I have updated pictures on my Young Hopefuls page . Tender is hanging in there she is so big I am thinking 10 my lucky number when it comes to litters Do I want 10 NO but I have NO say . three more pups leave this weekend . we still have the pups that will be flying over seas to Italy ,Holland and Germany we have about five more weeks to go . I will start leash training . MDR1 came back on the Dora and Alo litters all cilents have been contacted with new pictures of there pups and MDR1 results . We will continue to try to get pictures to all our clients Over seas . We are looking into Bringing in semen from the Uk We have two very exciting breeding's coming up with UK Studs If all goes to Plan it will be Grand the two dogs that we intend to bring here via there sperm are Wicani What's New Pussycat (Khan) a Gorgeous Tri dog and Wicani Waltz of the New Moon (Neon) Blue dog to View these two wonderful Dogs please Visit Wicani Web site under boys.

Kabluey has been sold He is going to live in a PET home His new mom came to meet him today and fell in love with him he will be leaving this sunday . Leader dogs for the Blind came to pick up the two smooth tri boys and it was so nice meeting Sam The work they do is outstanding . Tender is hanging in there she is so full of pups I hope she waits till this weekend to have her babies .One of the Tri males in Lyras litter flys to Newfoundland this sunday Nicole just a few more sleeps and you will have your teddy bear in your arms . Also The tri rough male will be flying out this monday to his show breeding home in New Orleans . We have one of the Tri boys being picked up Lyras litter Dar and Rob will be adding their second collie to there Family . Also The sable girl Charm will be leaving with her new mom Janneke she is going to be a show girl in Ottawa and what a beautiful girl she is you will have no problem showing and finishing this stunning girl. Last we have posted some breedings that will take place this summer on our puppies page if your interested in one of the pups from any of these litters be advised that the waiting list's Are filling fast so if you want one of these pups you need to act know and be put on the waiting list . We are taking no more reservations on the Maggie and Quest litter this litter is reserved . we still have room on the Usher Sunny breeding Glasgowhill collies are known all over the world and we only breed if the litter has been reserved yes some things are" worth waiting for"

Well today was busy I took some pictures today and sent them to clients if you have not yet received picture look tomorrow I will do the rest then . the vet was out to Give the pups flying over seas there rabies so in 30 days the people in Germany and the Netherlands will be getting there pups we are still waiting on MDR1 I will call them tomorrow to see what the holdup is . I have someone coning out to see Kabluey we are placing him in a loving home so I hope it all works out . also we have the two smooth tri male pups leaving tomorrow they have been donated to the Leader dogs for the Blind . We have been trying to get some of the web site done and updated but it is going so slow .

Well we have had a busy weekend to say the least First SciFi arrived in the UK safe and sound and his owners are so happy with him we are just so relieved that he is safe in his new owners arms so congratulation Angela and Keith Harvey of Wicani collies on your Second Canadian Champion Glasgowhill Boy . In just 9 months your third Collie from Glasgowhill will be arriving a beautiful tri girl . Also congratulations to Roxanne Morgan of Winsmore collies she takes home with her Four Puppies one on co ownership Glasgowhill's Making Waves nc. and to Evey and Morty Of montreal congratulations on Frey it was so much fun having you here and I hope it will not be your last time to visit beautiful Kincardine . And to Jane and her son Michael congratulations on Java your going to have so much fun with her We also would like to congratulate Andy and his wife Christina on there new puppy Glasgowhill's I Tri To Tri and Rob and Bev on there new puppy Glasgowhill's tri harder please today we have two more pups leaving a Tri girl congratulations to Nicole of Oakville and A sable boy congratulations to Mark and Jen of Toronto We do not have any more puppies available Sorry We do however have a litter due any day now and have people waiting for puppies from tender and Rem's litter sorry all are sold Too.

Hey everyone sorry again for not keeping up with news But as most of you know I have been busy with puppies most if not all are leaving this weekend and Next weekend . Tender is getting ready to have her pups so everyone waiting for her pups will finally be happy to see what she has ,Yes she will have all sables lets just hope we has boys and girls and not a whole litter of one sex . Well the big day Scifi leaves tomorrow and friend Angels Harvey( Breeder Judge) is so not going to sleep tonight .Also Dora and Antic come home and Roxanne Morgan from PEI flies in to get her pups and have a visit . We are all going out to dinner Roxanne,Jim .Myself Cheryl ,Bill from Kincardine , Evey And Morty from Montreal they are all Glasgowhill Owners and Fans a very good friend called my Yahoo group the International brotherhood and sisterhood of Glasgowhill LOL How fitting we are one big happy family . Needless to say I will miss all the pups leaving this weekend Including Frey, Java ,Chanle .lets just say it's going to be one VERY busy weekend

Well today we will be updating pictures of the puppies so it will be a very busy day . our eye checks went very well and these results will be posted with the new pictures . MDR1 results will be coming soon for Alo's litter and Dora's litter I have ordered more MDR1 kits so I hope they will arrive soon .Today should be a sunny day no snow but very cold . Also Gene and I have decided to donate the two tri smooth male puppies to the Guide dog for the blind I called and had an over the phone interview . I got word latter in the day that both puppies were excepted into the program in Michigan USA the puppies will be leaving next week.

HI everyone sorry I missed you all yesterday BUT I was very busy . I finally got all the puppy ears in .only took two days that is 26 sets of ears . other then the pups going over seas . most of the puppies leave soon . After today decisions can be made on who is going where (EYE CHECKS ) today . Roxanne Morgan Of Winsmore collies will be here on the 14th to pick up Chanel and her pups . Evey and Morty are coming in from Montreal to get Frey . Oh and Scifi leaves on the 14th I will miss him he is such a wonderful dog .

January 5 2010

Java Was Spayed today and all went well She also had her hips X rayed and she is clear of hip dysplasia I will have certification in about three weeks from OVC . I was down at the kennel and will go back I am doing everyone's EARS wow 26 sets of puppy ears and nails should take me the rest of the day .

Java went to the vets today she is being spayed tomorrow before she goes to her new home with Jane and her son .Also we were out in the deep freeze to get video of the dogs what fun that was . The dogs had so much fun thank god the wind slowed down it did snow most of the day . the puppies were out in it to . today I groomed four client dogs so I was very busy I am a master groomer and own my own shop have for 20 years . frey was also sold today he will be going to his new home soon . we were also on the phone most of the morning with our broker to arrange all the flights for the pups going to the Netherlands, Germany , Italy and the UK SCIFI leaves on the 14th of this month never a dull moment here !!!
